On 28th June 2014 members of both Newark and Muskham Art Groups got together to produce a composite picture from a photograph to commemorate World War ll. This was done at St. Wilfrid’s Church, North Muskham as part of the Riverside Festival.
Each member was given a 4 inch square piece of the picture which they then had to paint onto a 12 inch square in a medium of their choice which included watercolour, acrylic and pastels. The finished paintings were then fixed together on a board to display the complete painting.
